Lots of trigger warnings on safety concerns, we talk murder, rape, assault, crime
When some inquires about an out-call, first all check the location and services
Ask for a photo an address and secure a deposit
Check the street view of the address
We are not sharing to scare you it’s to make you aware of the risks so you can be on your guard and plan for the worst
Find things you can use as a weapon, your key, deodorant, dry shampoo
Australian laws, it is illegal to carry a weapons
Some girls will require you to send a drivers license, there’s pros and cons to this
Guys need to be wary with what girls they see too, you need to make sure they are legit
When going on an outcall, they need to send a deposit. This is part of the screening process. You look up their name using their payid information. Put their name in google, see what comes up. Past experience, they had court appearances coming up!
Outcalls are riskier for women, so extra measure are in place
Before leaving for the outcall, screen shot all the information to someone you know, their number photo, the address. Also check in with someone for the time you should be there and what time you will be finished
When arriving to the outcall, park on the street, not in the drive way
Even if you don’t have security, make them think you have security
Red flag, if they are sending photos of wads of cash, they are full of shit
Ask questions, will anyone else be at the property during the booking?
Men; don’t have escorts over while your children are sleeping!
Don’t be in a rush, when setting up outcalls
When arriving at the address, message them to tell them you have arrived, wait until they come out of the property, hold onto your keys until you are sure you are safe.
Edens story, the guy wasn’t the guy in the photo so went to leave, 6 or 7 guys were in the house waiting for me, luckily my gut told me it was off and I didn’t enter the property, but this can happen. Multiple men might be in the property waiting to gang rape you or kill you.
If you haven’t locked your car, check that no one else has gotten in
We mention the poor girl that was murdered going to an outcall where three men were there unknowingly.
You are not necessarily safer working in a brothel, because the price is lower, women are more likely to be assaulted
It doesn’t matter what the guy’s background is, any guy can assault you. There is no point not seeing a particular demographic
There was a woman killed in a brothel recently
Because of these safety concerns, this is why we work together.
If a guy ask if you are alone, this is a red flag, I don’t take their bookings
Even a good regular can be a risk, never drop your guard while working
Taking incalls are always going to be safer. Keep your incall address safe. When you agree to a booking only give the address when you agree to a booking time.
When staying at airbnbs, give them the street name, then when they arrive there then give them the house number. In some locations, gays collect the address, they can watch this address, see how busy you are. They can rob you if they don’t show up for your booking.
Always keep your door locked and chained
Incall story, I tell guys I am working with a friend as we are walking into the room, one guy legged it after I told him this. He seemed very suspicious, he had his hood up, not making eye contact or talking. I looked him up afterwards and he had courts appearances coming up!
Ugly mugs, is a platform for women to share photos and information of men that have misbehaved in any way
We often check the guy’s number for each other to see if we have seen them before.
Guys do get new numbers which can make this tricky
Young guys are using grindr for work, men and trans need to be more on guard because there are people out there that just get off on hurting people. Young guys doing sex work are typically ready for men to assault them. Always screen shot the information and let someone know where you are, or plan something afterwards so someone will notice if you go missing. That is the sad reality of this work
If you want to know specific brothels, email us!
Do you want some kind of platform to connect and stay safe together? Let us know!
Listener question: How do you balance life and work especially with all the stigma around sex work
If you don’t hear from your friend after the booking time has finished, call the guy!
We suggest you do not drink or do drugs, in case they drug you
